Business Development Manager 

The Ausnutria Dairy Solutions team is growing and as a result of that, we are looking for a

Business Development Manager

In this role, you will investigate new business opportunities and look for potential business partners who support the corporate growth strategy in North, Central and South America. In addition to generating new business, you will be commercially responsible for the existing customers in the region. You will be part of the Ausnutria Dairy Solutions team, based in the Netherlands, with a particular focus on Business Development.

Responsibilities
In this role you are scouting out potential business partners based on predefined criteria and you will  manage existing customers, with the objective to grow sales in your region. You are responsible for the whole process, from market analysis, to establishing first contact, business presentations, evaluating business proposals and hosting visitors. As such, the role also requires screening and responding to inbound contracts (requests for information, requests for quotation).

Besides enabling new business, you coordinate and support the execution of existing business, both for selling companies and distributors. To be successful in this role, you are able to build and maintain operational relationships with internal and external stakeholders, exchange information and build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Your profile

• At least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field;
• At least 5 years’ experience in an international commercial business environment (related to dairy), used to connecting and collaboration with different cultures;
• Excellent and convincing presentation, communication skills and experience in a sales related role;
• Problem-solving personality with a can-do attitude;
• A team player with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills;
• Willing to travel 25% of the time;
• Experience or strong understanding of ingredients in the (dairy) industry is preferred;
• Fluent in English and proficiency in Spanish is required. Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
