We’re looking for a proactive Internal Auditor with a critical attitude and good communication skills. Do you combine these competencies with a ‘hands-on approach’? Then we are looking for you!
Our small Internal Audit team is looking for a new colleague. You work closely with your team members, but you also have your own tasks and responsibilities.

Your profile:
You’re an independent and objective person who’s not afraid to challenge people. In doing so, you are always looking for common ground and opportunities to add value. You have a keen sense of business complexity and dynamics. You are able to collaborate naturally with stakeholders on all different levels within the company.

Traveling for international audits isn’t a problem for you (probably 3-4 times a years). You know how to work within different cultures and for this position you will be working with our international Internal Audit colleagues from Ausnutria China.


Task and responsibilities:

  • Execute, in accordance with the risk-based internal audit year plan, internal audits that may include system reviews, investigations, agreed upon procedures and risk assessments. 15-35% of the audits are overseas;
  • Proactively partner with the business to identify control deficiencies, process improvements and financial issues and propose solutions where applicable;
  • Clearly and thoroughly documents all audit work and conclusions via a well-organized set of work papers in compliance with the company standards;
  • Report clearly and concisely;
  • Monitor audit recommendations and stimulate timely implementation of these recommendations.
     

In order to be successful in this position, we expect the candidate to have the following qualifications: 

  • Chartered Accountant (RA);
  • At least 5 years work experience in an (internal) audit position;
  • Ability to interact with executive management, the Board of Directors, external auditors and regulatory agencies with tact and diplomacy while achieving stated objectives;
  • Professional communication and consulting skills (both oral and written) in English and Dutch; on top of that, proficiency in Chinese is a plus;
  • A keen interest in cultural differences and a strong desire to foster mutual understanding;
  • Experience in a production environment is preferential.
