Ommen

Approximately 65 employees work at our small-scale factory in Ommen. The work in this factory is focussed primarily on the production of various dairy ingredients, based on, among other things, goat milk and (organic) cow milk. To aid the production of these ingredients, the factory consists of, among other things, a milk reception, an evaporator and a drying tower. The skimmed milk powders produced at this location are an important base for our infant formula and are often used in our own products. In addition, goat whey, a residual product of cheese production, is converted at this location into whey protein concentrate (WPC): an important ingredient for our Kabrita infant formula. Other dairy ingredients, such as whole milk powder and cream, are sold to other companies within the food industry.

Kampen

At our factory in Kampen, employees work together on the production of so-called base powders, that are needed for our infant formula. To aid this, the factory has a milk reception, an evaporator, facilities for wet blending (for the wet mixing of the ingredients) and two drying towers. A variety of base powders are produced here and tailored to formulate the required end product. Following the completion of the process here, the base powders are packaged in big bags and transported to our factories in Leeuwarden and Heerenveen, where these are processed and packaged into a final product. 

Leeuwarden

At our Leeuwarden factory, employees work together on the mixing and packaging of our products. Here, the supplied base powders from the factory in Kampen, are mixed with other important ingredients, packaged and distributed to warehouses. This factory houses mixing and packaging facilities. Additional ingredients are also dry mixed with the base powders here at this location. Some of the ingredients are prepared in the pre-mixing department. The mixing process ensures the efficient blending of the ingredients which maintains the quality of the powder. A controlled atmosphere is then created in the packaging to ensure a long shelf life.  

Heerenveen

The factories at our production location in Heerenveen have been operational since 2018. Here, employees work together on the mixing and packaging of high-quality infant formula products. The supplied base powders from the factory in Kampen are, together with other important ingredients, dry mixed and packaged, after which the final products are stored in, among other places, our adjacent high-rise warehouse. This factory also boasts mixing and packaging facilities. Although the process here is comparable to the process that takes place in Leeuwarden, there are differences. Zwolle

Ausnutria's head office has been located in Zwolle since 2016. Our modern and open plan head office houses the following departments: HR, Finance, Sales & Marketing, IT, Research & Development and Office Support. More than 150 employees currently work at our location in Zwolle.
